Fairy Ring
This is a Fairy Ring - the circle of toadstools that has expanded outwards from the original fungus. This surrounds an oak tree on the village green. The tree was planted to commemorate a local man who was a Morris dancer and a weaver who designed the bridal-dress train for Queen Elizabeth II's wedding dress.

Old Milestone, Cutlers Green
Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of Thaxted (Uttlesford District), Cutlers Green; near junction of Bolford Street and Loves Farm Road, South side of road. Probably privately erected for Thaxted Hall in the 19th century.
The inscription is illegible.

Pond at Cutlers Green
This pond is south west of Cutlers Green. On the day the photo was taken there was no wind and the surface of the pond was completely still and reflected mirror-like the trees on the far side.
