The British Legion pit or more formally the British Legion Business Park is a small industrial estate just off the A414 Maldon Road. At the time of this photograph it was home to two auto repairs, two engineering companies and a plant hire company.

Essex Wildlife Trust use some sophisticated mowing equipment in this reserve! A couple of cows enjoy some shade whilst grazing in Dell Meadow, which is part of the Essex Wild Trust's Hithcocks Meadow and Dell Meadow Nature Reserve.

The building to the left is Hill House. On the right is a small parade of shops. At the time of this photograph they were a mini-market, a florist and a children's clothing shop. The white building in the distance is The Bakers Arms, the most central of Danbury's five public houses.
