Barton: Manor Farmhouse
This fine Grade II* listed house dates from the early 17th century. South of the house, two courtyards of converted farm buildings, known as Burwash Manor, house a number of upmarket independent shops and a café. This picture was taken from the approach road during the cold snap in the third week of January. The pond was frozen.

The entrance to Burwash Manor
Burwash Manor is a collection of converted farm buildings occupied by independent shops and businesses. It's a good place to buy a Persian carpet. Barton church (see Image]) is in the distance between the first two trees to the right of the gate.
