Serving time
The old Art Deco style buildings at the eastern side of the zoological gardens are soon to fall silent as the zoo closes after getting on for two centuries. It is now part of the restaurant but was built as the Clock Tea Rooms in 1938, replacing an earlier refreshments stall.

Lemur in Bristol Zoo
Pictured in the Lemur Walk-through area, one of the zoo's six crowned lemurs, which are endangered in the wild in northern Madagascar. The zoo is engaged in a breeding programme to help their conservation.
