Details
Distance
1
Searle Avenue
Not part of the original 1920s layout of Peacehaven, the road was added towards the end of the 1950s and initially ran between South Coast Road, the A259, and Arundel Road. Both ends have now been closed off meaning access can only be made via Ashington Gardens. Unlike many of the original roads which were straight this one has a slight kink in it a result of it following an old field boundary.

Cornwall Avenue
Unmade up section of Cornwall Avenue north of Arundel Road. It was first marked on the 1955 1:2500 map, with a few houses that had been shown on the route on earlier maps, seemingly without access. These have since been replaced by the more continuous development seen here.

Part of the original 1920s layout of Peacehaven the road runs from a right angled bend with Roundhay Avenue and ends next to fields to the north. On the right is Downlands Court built on the site of a former care home called Hoath Down House. The junction with Arundel Road is to the left.

Cornwall Avenue
This part of the avenue was not part of the original layout and was added after the war as were many of the houses on the right. To the left just out of shot are a set of allotment gardens whilst in the distance are a number of new houses recently completed though not all are inhabited yet.
