The Croal Viaduct
Built in 1847 and consisting of iron and masonry arches, the viaduct carries the Bolton to Blackburn railway line over Bury New Road and the River Croal valley. The iron arches were built by John Ogle, Son & Co. of Hope Foundry in Preston.
