The left-hand slot is for stamped mail and the right-hand for franked. The box stands outside Image and is emptied finally at 6pm on weekdays and at noon on Saturdays - unsurprising, the latest collection times in the town.

New Milton, delivery office
Although the words 'Post Office' are still affixed to the wall, this is now only the Royal Mail's Local Delivery Office. The Post Office branch relocated to the back of a newsagent/grocery store across the road.
