Charlton Inn benchmark
This is a mark dating from the post-WWII period and is listed in the Benchmark Database: http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm44825 . In years gone by there were a number of buildings on the opposite side of the crossroads called Harleston Terrace; that had a mark, but these were cleared by the late 1960s.
