Zeals: postbox № BA12 71, White Cross
This small Elizabeth II-reign postbox (which we can say is post-1994 because it is inscribed ROYAL MAIL rather than POST OFFICE above the slot) serves the northern straggling parts of Zeals village and is emptied at noon on weekdays and at 9am on Saturdays.
Chapel Lane ahead of us represents the most straightforward route into the village centre but the lane off to our right is an alternative.

Zeals: postbox № BA12 95, Portnell?s Lane
A standard lamp box serving the Westfield Estate, mounted on a metal pole but standing alongside a wooden post which may well once have had the box strapped to it. The spire of the Image is in the background.
