Allotment gardens near Studley
These allotment gardens are located approx half a mile from Studley village centre, directly opposite The Railway public house. It could bring a whole new meaning to "just popping out to the allotment dear"!!!

Heavy haulage takes the strain, Node Hill, Studley
A locomotive in Virgin livery is hauled on an Allelys low loader, 18 wheels in all. It makes slow progress up long straight Node Hill, aka Bromsgrove Road A448. It's natural to speculate: was it a loco that broke down, or is it bound for refurb and rebranding for Chiltern Railways' 'silver' trains?

Junction, west end of Station Road, Studley
Station Road joins from the right. The view is from the Bromsgrove Road, A448, at the summit of Node Hill. The A448 continues west-northwest as The Slough towards Redditch. Traffic was unusually disrupted on this day because of a burst water main in High Street. Rough Hill Wood rises in the background.
