Malthouse Farmhouse, Brandwood End
Ignoring the new houses on the left, the main buildings in view here are the 16th century Malthouse Farmhouse at the rear, and a slightly more recent barn, now converted, on the right. Buses delaying traffic
A pair of buses ahead cause a rolling roadblock as they both stop every couple of hundred yards. Unfortunately no improvements such as laybys are provided on this section of the A435 so a single bus passenger causes dozens of other road users to be delayed.
