We Know What It Means
An array of signs at the end of the access road near Oldtown. The middle one is a touch idiosyncratic. The farm at far left is Berrybrae, and there is a glimpse of the B9002 on the right.

Wardhouse railway station (site), Aberdeenshire
Opened in 1854 on the Great North of Scotland Railway's line from Aberdeen to Keith, this station closed in 1961. The line was later singled. View north west towards Kennethmont and Keith. Both platforms had gone but a solitary building survives, complete with broken windows to add to the air of desolation.

Wardhouse Railway Station
From the past when trains were seen as a service, this was the station of Wardhouse, even though Insch and Kennethmont stations were no more than 3 miles away.
