This was once a corner local surrounded by granite terraces, but it is now completely surrounded by industrial units and the nearest houses are nearly 1 km away. Even Links Street has been truncated just out of shot.

This was originally a school when built in 1881 but has long since been converted for industrial use. Few people now live in this part of town, it being part of the red-light zone.

Former Aberdeen Iron Works (sic transit gloria)
The former Aberdeen Iron Works, which once forged iron and steel for Hall-Russell shipbuilders as part of Aberdeen's thriving shipbuilding industry. It's now a crumbling ruin, but is C-listed for its historical importance: http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB50963 .
