To the south of Elland town centre there is a large block of late 19C and early 20C terrace houses laid out in a curved grid pattern. Elizabeth Street is one of the roads that go down from Savile Road. In the distance the junction with Frances Street can be seen, and here Elizabeth Street bends left to Southgate.
