A delightful cafe and reading room with fine views over this beautiful park which was given to the city in 1921 by Joseph Rowntree in memory of his employees who served and died in WWI. Viewed from the Lych Gate while sheltering during a torrential downpour. This reading cafe is part of the city’s Library Service.
