Pompren yn rhychwantu Afon Teifi. Adeiladwyd y bont gyntaf yn 1910 llu bu gwasanaeth ceubal gynt A footbridge spanning Afon Teifi. The first bridge was built in 1910 replacing an earlier ferry crossing.
