This is a large former cotton mill complex that is still in use by an upholstery firm. The multi-storey block here is one end of Mills 1 & 2 of 1844. In front is a single storey north light shed that was probably a weaving shed. The gutter running along the front of this shed indicates the position of the valleys of the north light roof.
