Viewed on April 15th 2020 during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In late March 2020 McDonald's stated that it was becoming clear that maintaining safe social distancing whilst operating busy takeaway and Drive Thru restaurants was increasingly difficult. Therefore every McDonald's restaurant in the UK and Ireland was closed from 7pm on Monday March 23rd 2020 until further notice.
