Cast iron post by the A50, in parish of Stoke on Trent (Stoke on Trent District), Goldenhill, High Street, in tarmac path against brick wall, on South West side of road. Lathe iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : KIDSGROVE 1¼ / SANDBACH 8½ / CONGLETON 8½ : : GOLDENHILL : : TUNSTALL 1¼ / BURSLEM 2½ / HANLEY 3¾ / NEWCASTLE 5 : Maker:- : Chas. Lathe, Tipton. : Grade II listed.
