Cast iron post by the A39, in parish of GLASTONBURY (MENDIP District), Pomparles Bridge, near Street, on grass verge, on West side of road. Plated iron casting, erected by the Wells turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : WELLS / 7 / MILES : : B / WATER / 13 / MILES : Milestone Society National ID: SO_BWWL13.
