The Smite Brook, above centre, has come about 10 kilometres southwest from near the village of Monks Kirby Image It is named on the 1:25 000 map. It appears also to have a connection to the Combe Pool in the parkland of Combe Abbey Image Photographed from the Sowe Valley path.
