Erected in 1888, the statue occupies a prominent location overlooking the beautiful Union Terrace Gardens. His Majesty's Theatre can be seen behind the statue. In the British Listed Buildings website, it is listed as Aberdeen, Rosemount Viaduct, Wallace Statue.
