Pulteney Bridge in Bath

Image: © Jonathan Clitheroe Taken: 20 Aug 1999

Palladian style Grade I listed bridge crossing the river Avon in Bath. The structure was designed by Robert Adam, completed in 1774 and is one of only 4 known bridges in the world with shops and dwellings occupying the full span of the river on both sides. This picture shows the more architecturally detailed south facade and is taken from a pleasure boat just below the weir.
