Town Mill hydro-electric system, Lyme Regis

The photo shows the pipes taking water from the mill leat to a turbine and generator in the mill. Installed in 2007, the system is designed to produce 32,000 kilowatt hours per annum. The mill leat also runs the waterwheel for grinding wheat.
