Garage, Gordon Barracks

Image: © Bill Harrison Taken: 3 Sep 2016

A modern garage for military vehicles to the north of the main parade ground. The Gordon Barracks complex was built 1932-35 in finest Aberdeen granite to house the Gordon Highlanders, who moved from the Castlegate in the city centre. The Gordons moved out in the 1990s and the complex is now used by the Territorial Army with parts leased to commercial tenants. Photo taken on an open day with permission.
