The Northampton Ironstone Railway Trust's line in Hunsbury Hill Country Park comes to a disused end. There is a short run-round loop here, the tracks may be seen coming together again a short way ahead. Beyond the points most of the rail has been lifted but left there for some reason. It may still be possible to run round with a short wheelbase locomotive at the risk of coming off the end of the rails. The line appears to be used for some of the length of this spur, why did they abandon the rest?
