A very boring photograph taken solely to Geograph this square! I snapped this on my way back to the car after a day getting my expensive digital camera and lenses very muddy while photographing Motocross riders. This view gives an idea of how busy the circuit was, and was taken looking back towards the track, which is just visible among the trees in the distance. I've just discovered that Hawkstone Park was used to represent parts of Narnianin the BBC's 1988 adaptation of C S Lewis's "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe", although I don't recall Motocross bikes featuring especially heavily in it. Maybe the film crew was there on a different weekend.
