On the east side of the B4246 Abergavenny Road in the north of Blaenavon, this station is part of the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service. Their website in October 2015 states that this is a Retained Fire Station with 16 personnel. Appliances are one Water Ladder (usually referred to by the public as a fire engine) and one Light Pump Unit 4x4.
