The Norman church of St Mary and St Lawrence is visible at the end of the road. The chancel, nave and tower are C11.Remnants of round-arched C11 and C12 windows are visible. The roof is C16 and the tower was heightened in 1684 to accommodate a belfry. Inside there are C15 oak benches.
