Opened in 1868 on the London & North Western Railway's line from Garston to Warrington Arpley, this station closed in 1965. View east over the site of the platforms towards Arpley and Manchester. These were adjacent but at right angles to the main station at Bank Quay (behind the camera position), which is still open.
