In use today as a checkpoint on the annual 'Circuit of Bath' sponsored walk. This house was recently the head UK office of Radan Computational, though it is no longer listed as such on Radan's website. Considering that when it was built it would have had a sweeping view of open land, the windows are surprisingly small. Perhaps this was a defence against the 'Lansdown micro-climate'; it is usually noticeably colder here than it is even a little way down the hill towards the centre of Bath.
