Dyserth & District Field Club - anniversary bench

This bench commemorates the 90th anniversary of the Dyserth & district Field Club, founded in 1911 by a group of about 40 people, the first chairman being the vicar Rev J. Evans Jones. The object of the club is to 'encourage the appreciation and understanding of all Aspects of the countryside'. According to its website http://www.dyserth.com/html/dyserth_field_club.html it has a current membership of about 170 and organises a varied programme of lectures and excursions.
