Charlwood Road borders Gatwick Airport on the left, so this stretch of road is the only easily accessible part of TQ2640. In any case, strange people toting cameras in this general area are liable to be approached by police or security people. Behind the hedge and fence to the left (but just behind the viewpoint) is Brook House. This is accessed from within the Gatwick outer perimeter fence. This new secure hostel for those awaiting deportation (or liable to it) recently failed its first prison inspection on numerous counts.
