A view looking east through the railway bridge over Folly Lane West. The railway is single track at this point, having left the dual track London-Bristol line at Thingley Junction (left), and will join the dual track Bristol-Portsmouth line at Bradford Junction South, to the north of Trowbridge. There is a very limited passenger service over this line, although it is well-used for freight and as a diversionary route during engineering works on the main line.
