The Co-operative Bank can trace its origins to the formation of the Loan and Deposit Department of the Co-operative Wholesale Society in 1872. Today,the bank has more than 140 outlets covering most major towns and cities in the UK. This one is at 19 Duke Street in the centre of Aberdare.
