Not the innocent thoroughfare that it looks. It is part of a 4x4 wheel drive experience from the nearby Coniston Estate that has a 20mph speed limit, but this seems to be for cosmetic purposes only. Despite being a right of way a red mist seems to descend on drivers who must get points for knocking down pedestrians, the amount depending on the injuries inflicted
